1. INSPECT ABSORBER CONTROL SWITCH (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
13 (B) - 16 (GND1)	NORMAL/CUSTOM mode switch being pushed and held	Below 1 Ω
13 (B) - 16 (GND1)	NORMAL/CUSTOM mode switch not pushed	10 kΩ or higher
12 (P) - 16 (GND1)	SPORT S/S+ mode switch being pushed and held	Below 1 Ω
12 (P) - 16 (GND1)	SPORT S/S+ mode switch not pushed	10 kΩ or higher
11 (ECU) - 16 (GND1)	ECO mode switch being pushed and held	Below 1 Ω
11 (ECU) - 16 (GND1)	ECO mode switch not pushed	10 kΩ or higher

(1) If the result is not as specified, replace the absorber control switch (electric parking brake switch assembly).
